Rigging specialists Marine Results have been named as accredited rigging service supplier at the forthcoming Perini Navi Cup to be held in the waters off Porto Cervo from 28th – 31st August.
This year sees the fifth edition of the Perini Navi Cup, which, as of today, will attract 20 superyachts built by Perini Navi including the 56m Panthalassa and The Maltese Falcon, the revolutionary 88m clipper, which has also confirmed her participation.
Ben Wood, a director of Marine Results is one of a number of technical experts from various fields who will be on hand during the regatta to service the fleet as part of Perini’s commitment to supporting the competing yachts.
Marine Results has carried out four major rig services on Perini yachts in the last three years and has performed surveys and support on numerous others, so the personnel have a great deal of experience with Perini. As well as rigging work, the inspection team have been busy carrying out quality control non-destructive ultrasound surveys on the new masts and rigging before they are commissioned on new yachts.
During the Perini Navi Cup Marine Results will work very closely with Perini’s own shoreside team, as they always have done throughout their successful relationship together.
